A few pictures taken the day I got it running for the first time. About April of 2001
Here is our 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible.
We purchased it in The San Francisco Bay area
in January of 2001, and brought it home to WA.
It was the 407th Convertible to be built in the
Lordstown, OH plant. It was then shipped to
California, and was sold new in April of 1967 in
Garden Grove, CA.  All paperwork was included!
The motor was shot, so I found a 1973,
low miles 455, with 6x-4 heads, 067 Cam. Added: Harland Sharp 1.65 roller rockers, all new components, Hooker, Edelbrock, Holley, Taylor, MSD, Flowmaster... to name just a few of
the items on and in the motor.
TH400 Tranny, shift kit and a mild stall. 4-wheel disc, Posi, Poly front end bushings, body bushings, Herb Adams sway bars, sub frame connectors...
We've had the car over a year now, and have enjoyed cruising it as we fix it up. It's not a show car, just a fun driver for our friends and family to enjoy! Last winter I added the wheel well trim, correct trim rings and center caps, recurved the distributor and had the carb dialed in, Added a hidden stereo system, did some interior work, added seat belt clips to the console, lots of little things... that add up quickly... were on a budget as our first child, Dylan was Born October 2001! What a blessing!  So,take a look around, hope you like what you see - Brett!
Some of the Stereo installation. Alpne Casette w/ CD controls, Kenwood 4ch amp, Kicker Marine sub, 2 Aura Bass Shakers, Blaupunkt 6x9's firing forward and a 110W 10" center speaker in the dash (soon there will be 4x6 speakers under stock grills in the kick panels.
Some pictures taken last spring, and one, with some of our other cars
(The 71' Challenger is our friends car.
Links are huge image files!)
Here are a couple of pix of my last two birds.
A 1967 OHC Sprint-6, 3-speed with a few options,
and a 1968 400 (421) TH400 with some options.
